Just Gotta Say by Laura Kaye
LGBTQ+ Contemporary Romance
When Callie’s three male roommates walk in on her enjoying some MMF porn, she’s absolutely mortified. But when the guys offer to help her achieve her fantasy she’s shocked and excited. After all, these are her best friends but she’s also been a little in love with them for a while, especially Lucas.
There’s not much else needed to set up Just Gotta Say because this sexy, erotic short is pretty straightforward. But Laura Kaye works her usual magic and creates a story that has me craving more. Though we only get brief glimpses into their lives, I loved each character and feel like I really know them more than just 100 pages warrants. From Lucas’s damaged intensity, to Noah’s sweet shyness, and Jack’s charming sex appeal, these guys are all wonderful. Callie is one lucky girl! I would say Callie was the least developed but even then her compassion and love for Lucas shines through. This was a very hot book and while it’s outside my normal reading preferences I still enjoyed it as I do with all of Laura Kaye’s books.
4 out of 5 stars
When Callie Davis stumbles upon two of her three male roommates in a surprising, molten-hot midnight tryst, she discovers a side of herself she never knew existed. Desire to play with them grips her, and she can’t stop fantasizing about having multiple men, particularly her three long-time best friends.
Callie is thrilled when a guys’ night out gives her the perfect opportunity to recreate her fantasy—with the help of a threesome porn video and a bag of sex toys. That is until Lucas, Jack, and Noah return early and catch her in the act. More than anything, the guys want to make her fantasy come true. But Callie has a secret, and she can’t help wondering if being with all three men will risk the future she’s always wanted with one of them.
As three strong sets of hands caress and undress her, Callie surrenders to desire, because sometimes you just gotta say…yes.
