Crazy for You by Rachel Lacey
Risking It All #2
If he didn’t want her dating other guys, if he was jealous, then he needed to quit acting like a big baby and do something about it.
Ryan was best friends with Emma’s brother before her brother died in the military. He promised to look after Emma so he feels guilty when he finds himself attracted to her. A fling is what Emma is looking for and she needs to lock down her teenage crush on Ryan before she gets hurt.
Another great read from Rachel Lacey and I really liked Ryan and Emma as a couple. The chemistry between these two was amazing! They set every page on fire and and I really enjoyed watching them fall in love.
I was happy to see that Ryan had truly grown from his troubled youth. I loved that he wasn’t a troubled bad boy, but instead someone who made some bad choices and had an edge but was a mature adult. Ryan’s development was really well written. I really connected with Emma in this book. I was pretty much the poster child for the goody two-shoes so I understand the desire to do things differently and have some fun. She was such a lovable character and I enjoyed every scene with her.
4 out of 5 stars
Emma Rush can’t remember a time when she didn’t have a thing for Ryan Blake. Haven’s resident bad boy is just so freakin’ hot-with tattoos, a motorcycle, and enough rough-around-the-edges sexiness to melt all her self-control. Now that Emma’s over being a “good girl,” she needs a little help being naughty . . . and she knows just where to start.
Before Emma’s brother enlisted in the military, he made Ryan promise that he would protect her from everything–including himself. When her brother doesn’t come home, Ryan needs to turn his screwed-up life around to honor his pledge. But he knows he’s still not the right kind of guy for someone as sweet as Emma. Only he can’t stop wanting to be with her. Wanting her. Falling in love with a good girl may be the craziest risk this bad boy can take.
