Pandora has a history of abuse and a part of her feels like she can’t or doesn’t deserve to be loved. She also a history with Brian that didn’t end too well, through no fault of Brian’s but it makes their initial meeting awkward. Brian is also feeling guilt over the death of his bandmates who were killed when their plane crashed. Brian was the only survivor of the crash and he was badly injured.
I did like parts of this one, in particular Brian who I thought was a very caring and sweet hero. Pandora was a lot more stubborn and resistant to a relationship. However, Pandora was also a very strong female character. I loved the all female tattoo shop. Girl power!
I loved Brian in this one! He was so sweet with Pandora and all her changing moods and he really cared for her. I loved that he liked her back when they originally met and that he would occasionally think about her. He was great at taking care of her without taking away her independence or making her feel like she wasn’t a strong woman on her own.
Pandora was a more complicated character to like; she had a lot going on in her life and a rough past that made her very jaded and cynical. I understand her lack of trust and her confusion over her feelings but there were so many times where I wanted to just shake her and tell her to open her eyes and look at what’s in front of her. Brian showed, in so many ways, how much he cared for Pandora but she was still resistant.
I’m not quite sure what was missing for me. I typically like characters with a rough past they have to overcome but something about Pandora didn’t work for me. Maybe it was too much in her past, since she had a lot that happened to her. Either way, I would have liked a character I could connect with better.
At this time, I will not be continuing with this series.

Toe-curling kisses and enough sex to fill a weekend were all Pandora wanted from a fling with her teenage crush. She’s never forgotten how he played the knight in shining armor to her damsel in distress. She’s ready to say thank you in several naughty ways, so long as she can walk away when it’s over with her heart intact.
Brian has no intention of allowing the feisty tattoo artist to leave him after one taste. He hasn’t had enough of her inked curves. The packaging might have changed, but Pandy is the woman he hasn’t been able to excise from his memory. He’s ready to put together a new life, one that includes her. But he’s not the only one vying for her attention. Someone else wants her, dead or alive.
